Cancellations due to COVID-19

If you have to cancel your BeerBus trip because of COVID-19 regulations (i.e. canceled flights, entry ban, quarantine etc.), please contact us at info@beerbusbudapest.com.

Can I buy my ticket on the Beer Bus?

You can only buy tickets online or from one of our street promoters. The most convenient way to buy your ticket is to buy it online.
We will need a 14€/ticket deposit from you, and the remaining price should be paid on spot by cash.

Can I get my deposit back?

When paying for the Beer Bus ticket, you must pay a deposit, which costs 14€/ticket. If you cancel your trip 5 days before the start, we will give you a refund.
If you cancel the trip less than 5 days before, we cannot give back the paid deposit. If the group or a person doesn’t show up at the starting time, we won’t give back the deposit either.
The 5-days cancellation mentioned above doesn’t apply to vis major cases.

I am a wheelchair user. Can I use the Beer Bus?

Please keep in mind that the Beer Bus is not a low-floored vehicle. In this case, a wheelchair-user passenger can only use the bus if they have a folding wheelchair and have someone with them who can carry them to the bus.

Can I bring my pets on the Beer Bus?

The Beer Bus is not very suitable for animals, therefore we would like to ask everyone not to bring their pets or any live animal on board.

Can I reduce the number of our group?

You can cancel your trip 5 days (120 hours) before departure. You can change the number of participants as you wish 5 days before departure.
You can also change the number of participants between 5-2 days before departure, however, in this case, you can only decrease the number of participants with less than 50%. (i.e. if you booked 10 tickets for your group and want to cancel some of the tickets, you can only cancel 4 of them). If you change the number of participants between 5-2 days according to the given conditions, we give you back the full deposit of the canceled participants.
If you cancel between 5-2 days according to the given conditions, we give you back the full deposit. Cancellations, that happen less than 48 hours before departure cannot be refunded.

Can we drink anything else other than beer on the Beer Bus?

Yes, you can also add prosecco which will cost 6€/bottle. If you want to buy proseccos with your ticket, you must inform us at least 48 hours before the tour. Adding prosecco is easy: while booking the ticket, you have to give the exact number of proseccos you want to have on board.
You can also drink your own water and/or soft drinks on the bus.

What happens if I’m late?

Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your booking time! The bus cant wait for late arrivals, because it has a strict timetable. If you arrive late, we can’t accept your ticket for another tour and you have to buy a new one for a later journey.
